In America alone, there are more than 437,000 children in the foster care system. Even more alarming, 49% of children entering foster care are between the ages of 0 and 5 (AFCARS, 2019). In a country with as much privilege and wealth as America, no child should suffer the way so many do. As a community, we need to support families. Raising children is hard. No one can thrive in isolation. As a country, we need to do better. We can do better.
At New Family Foundation, our mission is simple; we are committed to supporting efforts that promote the well-being of children and families. Whether it's providing funds to local organizations to feed hungry children or providing baby items to new moms, New Family Foundation was created to serve children and families. By partnering with like-minded organizations and people in our community, we can all begin to shift the balance right here in our own backyards.
As an organization and as a family, we believe each child is created by God for a unique purpose. We believe a strong, healthy support system is critical to a child’s well-being, and we believe that working together we can all serve and support families as they strive to care for their loved ones.
We look forward to seeing what God has in store for families in our community in the years to come, and we look forward to joining with you to make a better life for the little ones God has entrusted us with.
